Language Training

General Language Training
ICLS: International Center for Language Studies. Has evening, semi-private, and private tutoring sessions in any language you can think of.
Middlebury: Offers intensive language programs in: French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, and Japanese. Programs are 7 or 9-week programs in the summer, and students are required to speak the language of study the entire time they are there.
SAIS: Offers evening language courses in Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Political Russian, and Spanish over the summer.
USDA: Offer evening language courses in everything from Albanian to Vietnamese. Sessions throughout the year.

 
Central Asian Languages
Indiana University: Offers first and second year Azeri, Kazakh, Turkmen, and Uzbek.

 German
AICGS: American Institute for Contemporary German Studies. Has a list of places offering German language instruction.
Goethe Institute: Offers classes for all levels. In Rosslyn.

 Greek and Latin
The Greek and Latin Institute: Offers introductory and advanced courses in Greek and Latin over the summer (in New York City).

 Serbo-Croatian
Arizona State University: Russian and East European Studies Consortium (REESC) Critical Languages Institute (CLI) offers language courses in Tatar, Armenian, Serbo-Croatian and Macedonian during summer (June 3 - July 26) 2002. Tuition costs are waived.
