The application deadline is January 15, 2017 for entering the MA in American Government Program in Fall 2017.

Applications must include:
- a resume or CV
- an official copy of all undergraduate and graduate transcripts (if you have previously enrolled in a graduate program)
- a statement of purpose (approximately 500 words)
- an academic writing sample (10-20 pages)
- three (3) letters of recommendation, to be requested by the student but submitted electronically by the recommender
- application fee
All applicants must submit GRE scores as part of their application. No exceptions are made, even for those who already possess a graduate degree. For non-native English speaking applicants, the TOEFL is required in addition to the GRE.

TUITION AND FEES
Students in the MA in American Government Program pay Graduate School tuition and fees at a rate of $1,928 per credit hour.
For the 2016-2017 academic year, total tuition and fees are estimated at $49, 332. This assumes that students take 12 credit hours in both the fall and spring semesters. This amount does not include any classes taken in the summer, as well as room, board, or other necessary expenses such as travel and books.
