Student Fellow William Quinn Published in Washington Post
Student Fellow and Iraq War veteran William Quinn has published an opinion piece in today's issue of the Washington Post. Titled, "I'm Back Home, But Still in Iraq's Grasp," his article relates the enormous gap between the war and awareness of it at Georgetown. A sophomore in the SFS and ROTC cadet, Quinn studies international politics and security studies. We congratulate him on his fine article and encourage our visitors to read it.
"Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word, equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude."
