The Dahlgren Chapel of the Sacred Heart has been the spiritual center of campus since it was built in 1893 as a gift of Mr. John V. Dahlgren (C’1891) and his wife in memory of their son. The striking stained glass portraits of saints were selected as patrons of Georgetown students.
