Tocqueville Forum Senior Thesis Prize

Tocqueville Forum Senior Thesis Prize

In order to further its contribution to the academic life at Georgetown University, the Tocqueville Forum sponsors a Senior Thesis Prize through the Department of Government. In sponsoring this award, the Forum hopes to encourage students in their pursuit of academic excellence. This prize will be awarded annually for the best senior honor’s thesis on a theme or topic that explores American or Western ideals and/or institutions in keeping with the Tocqueville Forum’s mission.

The winner will receive a $250 award, be honored at the Awards Brunch just before graduation, and will be recognized with a transcript notation and certificate.

Nominations should be made by thesis advisors and/or the Honors Director. We also will consider self-nominations from students. Any submissions must be made by March 31 to the Forum’s Associate Director in the Department of Government, ICC 681. For more information, please contact Dr. Steven Brust at sjb25@georgetown.edu
