The Utraque Unum: A Journal of the Tocqueville Forum on the Roots of American Democracy
Editors attend Collegiate Network Conference
Over a beautiful November weekend, the Tocqueville Forum's undergraduate journal, Utraque Unum, sent two of its editors, Matt McKillip (C'11) and Collan Rosier (C'11), to a conference in San Antonio, Texas. The event was sponsored by the Collegiate Network, which provides grants to over 100 independent publications at American universities, and included enlightening speakers and students from around the country. The Utraque Unum was unique among the attendees as a scholarly journal rather than a newspaper or magazine, and it was very well received. McKillip and Rosier returned with many great ideas they look forward to incorporating into the journal.
