Ambassador Bodine worked in Baghdad in 2003. She was the Ambassador in Yemen when the USS Cole was bombed. She was in Kuwait during the first Gulf War and won the State Department’s Award for Valor for her tour there.

Ambassador Bodine has appeared on the Bill Maher show and knows the answer to who would play her in the mini-series.
