Conflict Resolution student and Bridge Initiative Digital Communications and Multimedia Manager Imrul Islam writes in Sojourners on moves against minorities in India over recent months, December 23, 2019.

Islam writes: “In Modi’s India, the dichotomy of power and pain mirrors the political polarity of a country coming apart at the seams. The recent protests might have been precipitated by the Citizenship Amendment Act, but they are the culmination of long-held grievances against a government that has targeted non-Hindu minorities (new window) with surgical precision.”
